The following projects require a permit in Fawn Township:
- New Dwellings, Decks, Swimming Pools, Fences, Sheds, Pole Barns, Garages, Additions/Remodeling, Solar Panels, Patios, Generators, Home Occupations and Demolition of Existing Structures.
If you do not see your project listed above and are unsure if a permit is required, please call South Penn Code Consultants, LLC at 717-942-2248 to verify and address any questions.
Note: Stormwater seepage pit permits are required for all new dwellings, roofed accessory buildings, and structures (including additions, garages, and accessory buildings) in excess of 800 square feet floor area. See the ‘Sewage Enforcement’ tab for permit information.
All Building and Zoning permits require a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 to be paid at the time of application. The deposit is applied to the final cost of the permit. The deposit and any zoning permit fees are payable to ‘Fawn Township’
All permit payments can be made via exact cash, money order, or check.
We do not accept credit cards.
A permit is not needed to hold a yard sale in the Township.
